About the event
We'll start off with a program by a staff member about the prairie and its inhabitants. Birders, bring your binoculars! Then we'll walk through the diverse native ecosystems of the tallgrass prairie on a blacktop trail. After our morning at the refuge, we'll stop by Goldies in Prairie City for some lunch, or at least some ice cream.
