WHO NEEDS ONE
If you want to receive recognition and earn awards from the American Volkssport Association (AVA), you'll need to walk "for credit."
This packet includes everything you need to get started walking for credit.
Each walker needs his or her own packet.

WHAT'S IN IT
The New Walker Packet includes an Event book, a Distance book, coupons that allow you to walk the next three walks for free, a coupon for a complimentary copy of The American Wanderer (the AVA newspaper), and a patch. (Total value of over $19) The cost is $10.
The books have no expiration date.
HOW DO I GET ONE
You may purchase one New Walker Packet at any group walk or business meeting.
Subsequent Event and Distance books need to be purchased through the club or from the American Volkssport Association.

Our national organization has a searchable database of over 2,500 events. The best way to know when and where unique events are about to happen is to visit their website at ava.org.
