Weekday Walk

We will gather at Shelter 1, the first one on your left after entering the park.  A perfect place to enjoy your day, Fort Des Moines Park is a 135-acre county park that offers an excellent opportunity to get out and reconnect with nature.  The park offers three trails rated as easy in difficulty.  We'll take advantage of one of several picnic shelters in the park to enjoy lunch after our walk, so be sure to bring your lunch.
