About the event
Join Iowa's Walking Club and Polk County Conservation for a wonderful walk! You can choose between a 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles) or Daisy Loop (under 2 miles), rated 1B. All routes will be on park trails and roads. Ideal for pets on a leash. A great place to enjoy the outdoors, this park features bison and elk herds, as well as being a great place for geocaching.
Correction to the event booket: The club will not offer food for purchase.
Directions: From Des Moines, take IA-141 north to NW 121st St (note sign to Jester Park). Turn right on NW. 121st St to 118th Ave. Turn left on 118th Ave and follow the curve to the right on 128th St. Turn right at the park entrance.
