This 5K walk travels through a sports complex, pocket parks, and along a recrea[onal trail following Mill Creek. This one is rated 1A.

Saturday, September 19, 9:30 am – Anamosa IA (Jones County)
This 5K hike will feature downtown and surrounding residential neighborhoods, as well as passing by the Anamosa State Penitentiary, built with beautiful Stone City limestone. There is also an optional 8K walk that includes the 5K route plus a walk through peaceful Wapsipinicon State Park, crossing the Wapsipinicon River twice, including a rare bowstring truss bridge. Both routes are rated 2B.
