How to get there:
Approaching the park from Des Moines on NW 121st Street will bring you to a T-intersection. Turn right (away from the Nature Center) and then keep left at a Y-intersection. Turn left when you come to the park entrance and main road.
Follow the park road as it winds north and west to the playground and Shelter #2 on your right. You'll see a pond on the golf course to your left, followed by a campground registration booth with restrooms ahead on your left.
We'll meet in the parking lot near the restrooms.
