Enjoy a 5k walk at Jasper County's Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve, located 6 miles SW of Grinnell.
The trails are well maintained and offer minimal elevation changes around a small lake. As an optional bonus, the main trail on the south side of the lake branches off to an observation tower providing a bird's eye view of the entire area.
The group walk begins at the shelter and goes past a small lake and into a network of mowed paths featuring prairies and rolling hills.
