About the event
It's the time of the year when the naked ladies (Belladonna Lilies)should be in bloom. It will be spectacular! We’ll meet in the Aliber Soccer parking lot
and walk to view the field of naked ladies, sometimes called resurrection lilies. The first lady popped up in Susan's yard this week, so the timing should be perfect to see a spectacular field of them.
After visiting the "ladies," we will enjoy a delicious lunch at Either/Or, 6222 Grand Ave., Des Moines. BTW, they have an awesome patio, if it's a nice day.
Driving Directions to the Aliber Soccer Complex: From Grand Avenue, just east of 63rd Street, turn south on the road for Either/Or and Pal Joey’s. After you pass Pal Joey’s, look for the gravel parking lot on your left.
