April "Full Moon Walk"

We will celebrate spring and the Flower Moon with an evening walk. It will be peak bird migration, so bring your binoculars, if you have some.

We'll start from the boathouse parking lot, just off to the right of the park's main entrance. From there we'll make a stop at the Athene Bridge over the Raccoon River to see what waterfowl might be enjoying a stopover. Then we'll decide as a group whether to continue around the limestone gravel park loop or venture onto the grass/dirt paths in Walnut Woods State Park.
