About the event
We'll meet at the American Gothic House Center, 300 American Gothic Street, in Eldon. The Visitor Center is open from 1 - 4 PM, so walkers may wish to stop at the Casey's to use the restrooms.
We'll explore parts of Wapello County and see the landforms and views that inspired Grant Wood.
Also, this is a "TRAVELING GUIDED WALK" and is a sanctioned walk that was not part of the club's annual scheduling process for 2025. Because it is a sanctioned walk, it is at least 5K in length, and a $4 fee is charged per person.
