Our national organization has a searchable database of over 2,500 events. The best way to know when and where unique events are about to happen is to visit their website at ava.org.
We recommend that you join America's Walking Club to get their quarterly newsletter filled with news, pictures, and stories of special events.
The July 20 meeting will be held at 6:30 PM at the grassy area across from Shelter 3 at Easter Lake Park, 2830 Easter Lake Drive Des Moines, Iowa 50320. Stay to the left as you drive into the park. Bring a chair, bug spray, and water. We will be sitting far apart to protect our health. There will not be a program or refreshments.
We meet on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 PM for a business meeting, guest speaker, food, and conversation.
While social distancing rules are in effect, we will meet outside. Watch the newsletter and website for the location.
When social distancing rules ease, we will hold meetings at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church, 511 Des Moines St, Des Moines. Map Street parking is available; members have access to off-street parking.
